The Creator Playbook is a brand-new channel teaching creators how to turn content into real businesses. You’d own the post-production pipeline from ingestion to final delivery.
Your number is retention. Talking-head education is the hardest format to hold people in. That's the job.
Onsite in Gibsonia. Not remote. Not freelance.
AI-first. AI is already in your workflow — transcription, rough assembly, cleanup, b-roll. If your process hasn't changed in two years, this won't work.
Clear over clever. You can take a complicated business idea and make it land in ninety seconds. Pacing and hooks matter more here than transitions.
An owner. You spot the dead spot in a cut before anyone gives you a note.
Consistent. One video a week to start, scaling to two. Weekly deadlines don't slip.
If you need to be managed through a deadline, this isn't a fit.
Own the pipeline — ingest to final delivery for TCP. Clean project files, media libraries, version control.
Cut for retention — strong hooks, tight narrative, no drag. Talking-head content that doesn't feel like one.
Finish them — color grading, sound design, music selection, motion graphics.
Shape the channel — you're the first editor here. You help define the visual style, not inherit it.
Work upstream — partner with the producer and on-screen talent so shoots come back editable.
Build the system — better workflows, AI where it earns its place, so this scales past two a week.
1+ years professional video editing, YouTube or digital-first
Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, proficiency in After Effects
Strong instincts on storytelling, pacing, and audience retention
Experience editing talking-head, interview, or educational content is a strong plus
Motion graphics, sound design, and color grading
AI tools running in your daily workflow (hard requirement)
Comfortable on Windows and Mac
Willing to travel roughly 25%
