These are easily the clearest safety glasses I’ve ever owned, making them a great choice for both the range and the workshop. I’ll be ordering another pair with my prescription so that I can use them for close up detail work (engraving, scroll work, etc.). Super satisfied with my choice.
The only safety eye wear for people doing anything, lawn mowing , wood shop, mechanic! Very comfortable
Got the defenders just in time to build a stall for my horse and string some fence. I have a pair of the OGs that I use at work and while I live them, I think the defenders fit people with a wide head like me a lot better. Great product, kinda want to get the dimmers now.

This is my second pair of Shop Shades. The first pair was a Christmas gift of Aviator style clear lens. I immediately enjoyed their clarity and the fact that I could wear them for hours and then almost forget that I was still wearing them! This summer, working deep on a large outdoor deck, the site was full very bright sun and hot. It was clear that I needed both eye and sun protection, without fogging! After receiving the newer frame style Shop Shades Sunglasses, I was instantly impressed with their clarity. The tint is dark enough but not too dark, which really helps when measuring, cutting wood and running power tools in full sun. The quality, comfort and especially clarity, is way above anything else that I have found anywhere else. I highly recommend buying two pairs, one clear and one pair of sunglasses to properly protect your eyes. It is a small investment for eye safety and comfort!
