I know John for many years and one of the things that he’s always harped on his safety. I was actually in the same room with him brainstorming when he came up with the idea of Shop Shades and I’m so glad that he ran with it and created these amazing safety glasses.
I got mine in prescription progressive transition lenses so they are versatile enough to use indoor and outdoor no matter what project I’m working on.
One of the things that I love the most is how light they are but secure on my face. Even if I’m doing physically, demanding work, the Shop Shades stay on my face perfectly.
It’s very evident to me now, having used them almost daily that he did not rush to production, but thought through every single detail to make sure that they are not only safe, but very comfortable to wear for many hours.

If you are like me and are finicky about how things feel on your face and have a bit larger of a head these are for you. I really like these safety glasses. I normally hate safety glasses because they fog up, feel weird on my face or my ears. These do not and offer a very good wide field of view. Also love the channel.
