Just what I needed to build my slab flattening sled. Good plan details and will make this easy to build. As always another great plan from John.

Easy to follow

I haven't much of a chance to put this into action, but a cursory look makes me feel this will be fairly simple.

Homemade Flattening jig

I haven't had a chance to use it ye I need to do a little sanding and tweaking yet i kind of modified the plans a little and pocket wholed at the cross pieces and had to shim the ends of the cross slide with a piece of 1/4 inch plywood on both sides and I still need to sand the top of the rails and relieve the edge where the box end slides the only improvement i can think of is an addition of what length and size screws .
