I got cataracts at a young age. I went through a lot and paid a lot to restore my vision, so I'm very protective of it. I've tried many different styles of safety glasses over the years and they ranged from 'meh' to 'okay'. When I got my first pair of Shop Shades, all the others went into a reject pile. I now have four pairs of Shop Shades left in strategic locations.
The protection is there all around, but for me the best part is the comfort. They're easy to wear and don't fall off my face, and so they will get worn always. Safety glasses that don't get worn offer zero protection whatsoever.
The best endorsement I can give is by how quickly I ordered another pair after I had a mishap. I had a dedicated pair for yard work and accidentally ran them over with the lawn mower. I can report that they do not survive that, because of course not. I placed an order about 10 minutes later.
I also look 8-10% more handsome while wearing them. My wife is frequently like, "where are your shop shades?" even if I'm not doing anything dangerous.

a lot lighter than traditional ones and they aren't as boxy. you really do forget your wearing safety glasses. super happy with purchase. worth every penny
